As from today, all those who arrive in Malta from any country in the world will have to go into mandatory self-quarantine for 14 days. This was announced today by Malta’s Prime Minister, Dr Robert Abela. This directive is enforceable by law. Failure to observe this can result in fines of €1,000 for every instance of quarantine breach. This measure was taken to contain the spread of the Coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic.
